We weren't always known as B:Side Capital. However, our mission to foster the economic growth of diverse small businesses remains the same and serves as the foundation for everything we do. For over 30 years, our organization was known as Colorado Lending Source where we established our reputation as a stalwart supporter of banks and small business owners alike.
In 2021, we rebranded as B:Side Capital and B:Side Fund to reflect our expanded focus, values, and offerings. Today, our legacy lives on through our mission with renewed energy to reach underserved small businesses.

Why B:Side?
Some of us are old enough to remember the days before streaming music or even CDs. Yes, we're talking about the age of vinyl records and cassette tapes….
The A-side always featured the popular radio-friendly hits that we all knew and loved.
The B-side, however, was where the deep cuts resided. These were the songs written for true fans who had the patience and dedication to look a little deeper.
We like to think of ourselves as true fans of small business. We relish the opportunity to look at the B-sides of the business world, those companies that might not always be the bank-friendly slam dunk. We go deeper and find those hidden gems who would otherwise be overlooked and unable to access traditional bank lending. That's why we call ourselves B:Side.

B:Side is who we serve: We help businesses who simply don’t make the cut when it comes to traditional financing. We strive to empower underserved markets, especially with our sister company, B:Side Fund.
B:Side is how we operate: The services we offer to lenders is the flip-side of banking products they otherwise wouldn’t be able to provide, fostering economic growth and job creation through SBA and direct lending.
