Zion's Tiny Homes

Autumn McGregor is the epitome of a dynamic entrepreneur and visionary leader. Not limited to a single venture, Autumn successfully heads several companies. At the heart of her multifaceted empire is a common thread: a commitment to forging lasting relationships with clients.

As the founder and CEO of Zion's Tiny Homes, Zion’s Tiny Getaway, and her own non-profit, Autumn has achieved a reputation for not just building structures but for cultivating connections. Her business philosophy extends far beyond the bottom line, emphasizing the importance of understanding and meeting the unique needs of her clients. Through her dedication to quality, sustainability, and client satisfaction, she has transformed her companies into trusted partners and experts in innovative and functional living solutions.

Zion's Tiny Homes is a tiny home manufacturer located in St George, Utah, building tiny houses across the US. Autumn and her husband have built the company from the ground up using very limited resources. The company builds three different sizes of tiny homes with six different layouts and other custom options. Each unit contains an office, warehouse, and bathroom and two 14-foot-wide grade level roll up doors that are 16-feet high.

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic posed challenges for Zion's Tiny Homes due to inventory shortages. Autumn navigated through the crisis with an EIDL loan, ensuring uninterrupted operations by procuring bulk inventory. However, this continued to leave the company with an operating capability unequal to demand.

An SBA 7(a) and $764,157 SBA 504 loan with Hillcrest Bank and B:Side enabled the company to purchase land and construct a 5,000 square foot building for increased capacity. The new building space allowed them to keep more inventory on hand, increase production from four to six units at a time, and hire five full-time employees.

Autumn's ability to prioritize long-lasting relationships speaks volumes about her leadership style. She views each client not as a transaction, but as a collaborator in the creation of spaces that resonate with personal values and aspirations. Through open communication, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to customer happiness, she has fostered a community of satisfied clients who not only return for her services but also become enthusiastic advocates for her brands.

Autumn McGregor's entrepreneurial journey is marked by resilience, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to client satisfaction. For this, she has been named the 2024 Utah SBA Small Business Person of the Year Award Winner!
